Stateless featured the handiwork of Swedish producer Andreas Saag and a roster of guest vocalists that included Yukimi Nagano, Jonatan Backelie, Else Hedberg, Vanessa Liftig, and Mimi Terris. Art of No State, an album released on Ubiquity in 2003, fused broken beat, house, '70s soul, and Latin jazz. Saag, who also recorded under the Swell Session and Saagolime pseudonyms, put Stateless to rest for several years and resumed activity in 2011, when he released Matilda on Ninja Tune.
